I read about this system and saw the Steve Guttenberg video a while back before Ken died. What I read was a more polite recounting of Ken Fritz and his system, probably because Ken was still alive at the time, and of course, the article was presented by someone in "The Industry". In this new article I thought there was a bit more highlighting of the DIY aspect while also comparing it favorably to the non-IY gear. I also liked that this article, to me, told Ken's story with all of the raw details that brought Ken, his family, and the stereo saga to life, warts and all.
