Electrician

Thanks for the tips!

Hi Kevin,

I second David's suggestion to have your electrician follow the installation guidelines set forth by Vince. I had the electrician do it for the dedicated circuits I had installed in my Ashland listening room and it was well worth it.

I guess it would be nice to find an electrician that's done this task before, but I wasn't able to do that in Ashland and it worked out very well. I just found a highly recommended electrician on Yelp and they followed by instructions to a "T" with the exception of the application of the silver paste - it really only requires a very small amount and excess just gets everywhere!

Best of luck and let us know how it goes.

Hi Kevin,

New electrical. What fun.

I'd refer you to this article (link below) that we published a ways back that was penned by Vince Galbo from MSB technologies. I think within the article you will find what you are seeking, except for the electrician that will follow the guidelines the article lays out.

Cheers,

David

Hi, I'm planning to install a couple dedicated circuits for my stereo system. I would appreciate any recommendations for electricians in or around SF who have experience in audiophile wiring.

Thanks, Kevin
