I like Qua’s article and the goals it represents. However those on the quest really should start with the receiver rather than the playback. That’s the human ear/brain and how it works to so quickly obtain and process sound. But that’s the hidden problem that the marketing guys would never allow for. Seems the folks with their 3D Soundstage need to team up with brain researchers a bit more - if they haven’t already done so. But at least they seem to moving in the right direction.
