Hello all,
I have been lurking but want to start trying to get out to more events. I am a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, producer, and audio engineer so I'm sort of obsessed with every aspect of musical creation and reproduction. My first exposure to higher-end playback in a home was around 1994 with a friend's father's system that consisted of the Cal Labs Delta/Alpha CD transport/DAC separates, Classé Audio preamp and monoblocks, and some big Martin Logans. He was a big ECM fan and that system played those recordings very well. He ended up selling me a lot of the gear he no longer wanted and it was a great place to start.
My most recent changes/tweaks have been on the digital side. A little over a year ago I switched from a laptop-based Audirvana setup to the Roon Nucleus, powered by a Keces P8 LPS, and added a Mutec MC3+USB re-clocker before the DAC. I am considering adding the Mutec REF10 SE120 10Mhz clock generator and I need to add some more treatment to the room as well.
