Being an Audiophile since 1959 (63 YEARS!) My system has evolved greatly. Back in the very beginning, I was invited to to hear a neighbor's system that included the original Quad Electrostatic Speakers. I was smitten, but wasn't able to own a pair of ELS speaker until 1998. Desiring the best of the state of the art, my research pointed me toward Sound Lab, a small and obscure company located in Utah, headed by a Stanford PHD and pioneer in ELS technology. Many ELS lovers considered them to be the best of the SOTA. Since then, I have owned 6 different models. IN MY HUMBLE OPINION, they are the best of the best. Being an enthusiast (as well as the only Northern California dealer), I would like to extend an open invitation to any SFAF member who would like to visit and hear my wonderful "city" system in my San Francisco
home, a 1910 Edwardian flat near Dolores Park.

I actually have 2 systems, the other in my country home in Sonoma County. It also features Sound Labs, the Ultimate 845s, much larger, and also backed by very fine electronics. The open invitation is also extended there too, but being a two hour drive from the Bay Area, perhaps some will want to hear the SF system first. I will post photos of both systems as soon as I figure out how to do so!
