GIK Acoustics: Evaluating a Room for Acoustics, A Zoom Event.
James Lindenschmidt of GIK Acoustics will discuss evaluating a listening room for acoustics & management strategies before considering additive acoustic treatments. He will first cover the best acoustic hygiene for a room including orientation of system & seating, furniture choices, the impact of windows and floors types, cloth vs leather furniture and other issues. Can you look at a room and evaluate its potential performance, and can he help guide us to avoid impossible room configurations? Finally, he will cover what kind of basic room treatments can overcome challenges, and where his portfolio of products can help.
