Installation of gold plated copper connecting forks (cap to duplex); provides greater resolution, a more refined sound, and a sense of ease.
-The “WG” stands for “With Ground Plane” – this is a feature that was labelled in early production and became a standard feature around 2011/2012.
-This unit retailed for $5,000 new with power cable. The modern equivalent is the AR6-T3 with updated parts that sells for $6,400 new with power cable.
The unit comes with an Au24 SE powerChord, an upgrade over the standard issue. Please note that this cord is only 4 feet long. For a modest fee ($300), Audience will upgrade the cord to a Studio ONE. Thanks to a friend and Foundation member, I have heard the Studio ONE with my AR6-T and the improvement was not at all subtle. Audience, who are very good to deal with, also offer many upgrades to the AR6-T if you choose.
