2024 Holiday Party

On Sunday, December 08, 2024, we held our first Holiday Party at the California Historical Radio Society building in Alameda, CA. The CHRS building houses a museum, a fantastic space full of historic radio memorabilia. Our Holiday party was a sold-out event.
There were many members I recognized on Zoom calls who I met in person for the first time. There were boxes of LPs to go through, and the variety of food was incredible. The entrees included salads, several kinds of pasta, stews, and what looked like a 36" paella pan filled to the brim. A separate table with a generous selection of cakes, pies, and other assorted delicious desserts was available for those with room for dessert.

All in all, everyone had a wonderful evening at an interesting new venue. If this year's event is an indication, our next Holiday Party will be sold out as well.
